Choosing between Mobile Broadband and DSL is also a difficult choice as both have strong pro and cons. It's my opinion that both services have their merits and I would think both will be around for some time yet. It's debatable if either service is better than the other as it really just depends w
hat is best for the individual.

Mobile Broadband is excellent as in theory anywhere I am I can access the Internet for a flat price monthly charge. In practice though it doesn't quite work that way as if going abroad immediately I will start paying roaming charges meaning I could quickly end up with a huge bill. Even if I only use the service in my own country there are still problems most notably network coverage. Mobile Broadband is typically run by the Mobile Phone companies meaning that if I hit a black spot I won't be able to get online either. My final negative is price, typically DSL Broadband is cheaper. That all said if in a strong network area and only wanting to access the Internet domestically it's still an excellent service and most people would say value for money.

DSL is what we trust and many of us will continue to use it. In the world of wireless networks it also offers a degree of freedom in that it can be accessed anywhere in our house. Another big plus is it is actually quite cost effective and can be bundled with other services for great savings. Another factor is often unlimited download space is available and faster speeds than Mobile Broadband are usually available. The obvious drawback is it can only be used in the home, but remember that there is countless free wifi spots and internet cafes offer a cost effective way to get online if needed.
