Does Your Kid Have Mono or is She Pregnant?

Last Friday John McCain thought he was making history when he picked a woman, Alaska's Governor Sarah Palin as his running mate, and you know what he is probably right. The nomination might go down in history as the first VP to crash and burn within a week of being nominated.

Sarah Palin, 44, is Alaska's youngest Governor and is barely in the middle of her first term. She was the mayor of a small town in Alaska with a population of roughly 8500. She has a degree in Journalism and was a beauty pageant loser, but there is much more to Sarah Palin. Let's go down the list. The "reformer", "the maverick" is a staunch conservative. She's a lifetime NRA member. She is against abortion and looks to overturn Roe V. Wade and she's against sex education, but that's not all. She's also under investigation for allegedly abusing her power by having a government official fired that would not fire her ex brother in law, a brother in law that is in a nasty custody battle with her sister. She was also for the building of the bridge to nowhere, but conveniently she is now against it. She is also a mother of 5, but if you believe the reports that could very well be four.

Sarah Palin has been plagued with rumors that her 4 month old son Trig, who has Down syndrome, is not her child, but the child of her 17 year old daughter Bristol. According to various blogs and news sources, Palin was giving a speech far away from Alaska when her "water broke". She then boarded a plane and flew 8 hours to Alaska instead of going to a local hospital. There she gave birth to her beautiful son Trig.

According to blogs and comments I've read from those in Alaska, Sarah Palin's daughter Bristol has been out of school for months. The good people of Alaska were told that Bristol was out of school with mono. Now I don't know much about mono, but does it keep you out of school for 5 months?
