Amazon.Com Post Order Price Guarantee May Be a Thing of the Past

For as long as most people can remember Amazon has offered there "Post Order Price Guarantee" This post order price guarantee allowed you to purchase an item and then with in 30 days if the price dropped you could request the difference to be refunded.

Post Order Price Guarantee is one of the top reasons many shopper decide to use Amazon.com for their shopping needs. With out this benefit many people are finding the savings not to be worth it anymore and are looking for other venues to complete their shopping experiences. Was this a a
 bad call on Amazon.com's side? Of course it was, As many customers now will shop around for the lowest prices else where.

The scary side of the story is that many people on there own discussion forums are posting how they are losing there accounts with a standard email being issues to people that is very vague with out listing an exact reason why these accounts are being removed and the shoppers are asked to not do anymore of their shopping through Amazon.com.

While one shopper put together an on line petition to try to persuade Amazon.com to bring back their "Post Order Price Guarantee" many other shoppers are deciding that with Amazon's lack of customer service and the banning of shoppers accounts they will just find other venues to shop. The disappointment to many of the Amazon shoppers comes from the fact that this was done with out a warning. It has slowly leaked out to other websites by members who have requested a Post Order Price Guarantee refund only to be told that after September 1st of 2008 this option will no longer be available.
