The new Kraft Macaroni and Cheese crackers have hit the market. My children are big fans of Kraft Macaroni and Cheese pasta, so these quickly caught my eye. I decided to put them to the "kid test" while hosting a play-date for my children and friends. I was able to find Kraft Macaroni and Cheese crackers easily at my local Wal-Mart, and later at my local Kroger Grocery Store. I purchased a box for under $2.00 on sale. Quantity-wise, this compared well with the cheese cracker I normally purchase. Therefore from a price-point perspective, this product fared well.
Kraft Macaroni and Cheese crackers are packaged well and well-sealed for freshness. The inner bag does not have a re-close feature. My solution for this was to put them in a large zipper-style bag.
For the play-date, I served the children a choice of apple juice or water, grapes, Pepperidge Farm Goldfish Crackers and Kraft Macaroni and Cheese crackers. The ages of the children were five to nine, and all four children liked cheese crackers in general.
The five year old girl liked the Kraft Macaroni and Cheese crackers more than the Pepperidge Farm Goldfish crackers, although she said she likes both. Cheese crackers are a favorite choice of snack for her typically. She said that the Kraft Macaroni and Cheese crackers tasted great.
The two nine year old boys liked the Kraft Macaroni and Cheese crackers and the Pepperidge Farm Goldfish crackers. They ate more Kraft Macaroni and Cheese crackers than Goldfish crackers.
The seven year old boy liked the Kraft Macaroni and Cheese crackers more than the Pepperidge Farm Goldfish crackers. He said he would prefer Kraft Macaroni and Cheese crackers to the Pepperidge Farm Goldfish crackers for snack time.
