Traitor was directed by Jeffrey Nachmanoff who also fleshed out the screenplay, based off of a story written by funny man Steve Martin. It is far from a comedy though, dealing with a young black Muslim who grew up and received training as part of the US military to make explosives. Now, after his service is seemingly over he has returned to the Middle East and seems to be taking part in terrorist activities, helping to plot an attack against America. The FBI is desperate to track him down and a particular CIA agent holds meetings with him leaving the viewer to wonder: is he a rogue agent or actually still working for the US? Actually, they do not leave you wondering that, the movie trailer itself pretty much tells you all the information that could have been used as a plot twist, but as is there isn't really a twist. Yes, the dude is working for the US. Am I giving away too much or ruining anything about this movie? Nah.

Traitor stars Don Cheadle in the lead role with the most notable supporting roles coming from Guy Pearce, Said Taghmaoui, Archie Panjabi, and Neal McDonough. All of the acting is fairly good.

I have not seen the trailer (at least, I don't THINK I have), but I'd watch it if my boyfriend were to rent it. He's usually the one in control of getting the movies, since he is a bigger fan than I am. Thanks for the review.

I've heard other reviews that were positive for this one. It seems like I'll have to go check it out for myself.

As you know, I liked the movie pretty well. It wasn't anything like Bourne, but wasn't all that bad. Just shows that everyone has different taste.
