Simple living and high thinking bring cheers and harmony in society. People do not fight one another.Law and order problems are reduced to the minimum and policing becomes a rare need. Considerable resources are saved through such conservation of energy.
Since wants are limited there is no greed. Absence of greed does not cause anger for there is no source of dissatisfaction. People give up hoarding tendency. There is no need to store large quantities and investment is conserved. Easy availability of essential supplies is ensured. Work is done as a duty and without expectation of reward. So the motivation is high and this brings out the best in man .When productivity increases there is easy and sufficient availability of goods and services. The value system ensures equitable distribution.
Mind control does not create situations for complaints. Gluttony takes a backseat in society and all diseases associated with over eating are ruled out. Food becomes digestible and health problems are minimized. Selectivity is maintained in food habits and choices and nutrition is ensured. Absence of greed wipes away excessive demand and curbs inflationary tendencies in society. Only essential goods and services are not produced. The controlled mind limits the desires to the bare minimum. Needs and resources are matched and there is balance. People acquire wealth only subject to righteousness. So there is no jealousy and conflict in society.
