Here is one of the most well-known excerpts from Ann Coulter’s best seller, Godless, The Church of Liberalism, “These broads are millionaires, lionized on TV and in articles about them, reveling in their status as celebrities and stalked by grief-arazzies. These self-obsessed women seemed genuinely unaware that 9/11 was an attack on our nation and acted as if the terrorist attacks happened only to them…I’ve never seen people enjoying their husband’s deaths so much…the Democrat ratpack gals endorsed John Kerry for president...cutting campaign commercials... how do we know their husbands weren’t planning to divorce these harpies? Now that their shelf life is dwindling, they’d better hurry up and appear in Playboy.” Ann Coulter appears to be stating that these women are using a tragedy as a mandate to accomplish political gain. How familiar this all seems. And could it be that Coulter has worked the same game?

It could be believed that Coulter is the most influential person of 2006. Why? Because she has walked in front of the whole world and shown how hateful and vindictive the right can be. Her accomplishment? The sweep of the Democrats into the House and Senate. After all, we can’t just blame the Bush administration for the fiasco that has become the Republican, conservative right.

The publication of her last book, Godless, was a spectacle to behold. Coulter uses every piece of dirty laundry and sad tragedy to propel her best sellers forward. Those conservatives who enjoy her “work” are as full of hate and vindictiveness as she is and the American people have finally stated that they are sick and tired of this particular pastime. Personal flaws are not a basis for impeachment -High Crimes and Misdemeanors-The Case against Bill Clinton---and a love affair with Joseph McCarthy certainly isn’t a sign of a high IQ - Treason: Liberal Treachery from the Cold War to the War on Terrorism. A photo of Coulter standing next to the gravestone of McCarthy is a sight to behold. I would imagine that Edward R. Murrow is rolling over in his own grave!

I agree with you Dion. But, it really got to me how much influence she seems to create. She is the same kind of hate monger that Limbaugh is. And frankly, just as ugly.

MAN I DUNNO. I THINK SHE IS EITHER SECRETLY A LIBERAL WHO IS PULLING DOWN THE CONSERVATIVES AND REPUBLICANS OR A DAMN RETARD. EITHER WAY I'D PUSH HER SCRAWNY ASS INTO TRAFFIC IF I CATCH HER ON 5TH AVENUE.
