When it comes to having your wedding makeup done there are two things are must about your makeup. The first is that your wedding makeup must last through out your celebration. The second thing that is important to keep in mind about wedding makeup is that it must photograph well. Many brides to be give up one of these must haves in regards to their makeup. You do not need to give up on anything if you know the secrets to great wedding makeup.

Foundation Makeup

You will need to include a great foundation in your wedding makeup. This makeup will provide the base for the rest of your look and start you off with a flawless complexion. There are a couple types of foundations that you should not use for wedding makeup. Matte foundation is great for its staying power. This makeup will stay all day but will look horrible in pictures. A sheer liquid foundation will look great in your wedding pictures, but it will wear off before you finish your wedding vows. You need wedding makeup foundation that will last and look great. The best type of foundation to use is a mineral foundation. By using this type of foundation your wedding makeup will last and look great in the pictures.

Blush

The most important aspect of wedding makeup blush is that it last through out your big day. The ideal type of blush to use is a cream blush with a hint of shimmer in it. This will create a natural blush that will last and highlight your cheekbones and give you a natural glowing look. All wedding makeup should be able to do more then one thing, including your blush.

Mascara

The only way to go with wedding makeup mascara is waterproof. Even if you do not like the feeling or the hassle of removing waterproof mascara on your wedding day you need to go this route. You will cry on your wedding day. The wedding makeup mascara that you use must hold up through the tears. You do not want to be at your reception looking like you have two black eyes because your mascara ran.
