Wow. There is way too much controversy surrounding this woman! The newest allegation is that she had an extramarital affair, which tidbit of information comes from none other than the National Enquirer. This is, as many may remember, the same magazine that first brought Democrat John Edwards' affair to the attention of the public back when no one believed that it could be true.

In what should be a widely covered sex scandal, the magazine alleges that she had an affair with one of her husband's business partners, and her husband found out about it and cut all ties with the man. However, unlike Edwards, Palin will likely not step forward and admit this, so unless some kind of proof exists, 'pit bull Palin' will continue to sit pretty in her VP spot.

We've learned a lot about Palin lately. She's a great orator, she is one tough cookie, and she holds strong to her values. However, we've also learned a few other things about her.

For one thing, she is a religious nut. She has stated that the war in Iraq is a mission from God and has said that the construction of a gas pipeline in Alaska is "God's will". She wanted creationism only taught in Alaskan schools, which means absolutely no science allowed when it comes to things like the creation of the universe, dinosaurs, and how evolution works. She also apparently was a member of a church, the Wasilla Assembly of God, where her preacher's sermons even more controversial than those of the ostracized Reverend Jeremiah Wright (Remember him? He was Barack Obama's preacher that you couldn't avoid seeing on the news if you wanted to). Her preacher seemed to believe that anyone who didn't support George Bush in the last election would burn in hell and has claimed that the 9/11 attack and the war and Iraqi are a war on faith and that, if people really want to follow Jesus, they will give their lives to win this war. His sermons used to be available for viewing online, but they cannot be viewed as of right now due to the high amount of web traffic on the church's website (We'll see if they ever get back online).

Isn't that the truth. More than half of this country were naive to the ways of George Bush and now look at the mess we are in.

Mega Nanuck Dittos to you Eskimo Peters. From what I've heard about Alaska most folks who settle there do so to get away from the liberal leftist commies in the lower 48 and are basically one step removed from isolationists. I believe most of the people there are transplants from other places who pretty much feel the rest of us are just urban trash..If there is a culture that exists there it aint native to the original inhabitants. As for religion, some among us practice our christian beliefs as though we were Sunni,Shiite,Kurdish Muslims without the beheadings. One World One People One God! Yep, that includes you too Alaska!!!

I agree with you on certain points. But the fact that Obama's church and Palin's church are not only thousands of miles apart physically they are also thousands of miles apart culturally. A little cultural resiprosity on both sides would go a long way. Remember when you point out the splinter in others eye you may have a plank in your own.

Mega Dittos' to the "Palin Babe Chic" as her convention speech was straight out of Rush L's play book of 'fit em all into one suit"! I've heard the phrase that Dems fall in love with candidates and Republicans fall in line could not be any truer in this case! I won't be a hyprocite and say that her affairs if any discounts her from a shot at VP but if this is all the republicans can produce then why not vet the greatest Stepford wife of all times.., Kathleen Harris? Does anyone remember her? If anyone thinks that my way or the highway Mcain and the moose jerky lady are going to change the status quo then I've got a bridge to no where to sell them!

America, please beware of Palin. A foreigner who recently visited our country described Americans as being gullible and naive (deficient in wisdom and judgment). At the time I felt insulted but today I clearly understand what he meant. Many Americans become easily infatuated with people and things because they appear to fit a perception or because someone tells us we should like it because it is the latest/hottest thing. We become fascinated with this new person or thing because everyone else is and we want to be included in the count. We react this way with new movies, new technology, new autos, new "rock stars", etc. We are very predictable for the most part and quick to forget that this "new item" is a fad or the same trick with a different face. We are quick to forget or disregard the real issues and fabricated stories because we are focusing on the hype, distractions and deceit of the fad. America, please stop being gullible and naïve and start forming your own

Well, as I watched the RNC convention and the body language of the family. I said they seem so distant from each other, Todd didn't seem to interested in touching his wife in the least. Didn't look happy. Looks like he was just going with the flow for show. Then I hear this. Not sure if it is true, but what a scandal it would be if it turned out to be true. Of course she will take the truth to her grave. Many people read the Enquirer and many people believe it. It does seem odd to me that if it was a Democrat it would be aired over and over and over and over again. But now that it is a Republican everything is a private matter, no one should talk about it. She shouldn't have to answer questions. She seems to be cold and calculating. She is very ambitious and does have her eyes set for the white house but not to help us common folk, but for the power.

Finishing: Is this a serious site, or are you somewhere beneath the Enquirer? It appears that you can't even MAKE UP your own slander. You have to get it at the same place the rest of us do: the check out lane at WalMart.

So, let me get this straight. Because the Enquirer got it right on John Edwards, after 30 YEARS of fabrications on everything from Elvis sightings to extramarital affairs by EVERYBODY in Hollywood or politics, it must follow that Sarah Palin is guilty because they say so? When you said "this is, as you may remember, the same magazine that first brought to light....." simple fairness would also demand that you state, "this is, as you may remember, the same magazine that first brought to light (fill in name here) was brought here as a baby from another galaxie," or "this is, as you may remember, the same magazine that first brought to light that Elvis is alive and living in (fill in name of town here)" or "this is, as you may remember, the same magazine that first bourght to light that (fill in name here) had an extramarital affair and her husband found out about it and cut off all business ties with (fill in name here). So, my question really is: Is this a SERIOUS site, or are yo

I don't see a problem with her pastor's comments or how they begin to in any way compare with the "God d*** America" comments of Obama's pastor! This is a religious war; the other side thinks so. You're just in denial, both of the truth and God. And, there are times I want to secede from the U.S. too! If it is proven that she had an affair, I will have to rethink my support of her because I believe that is a serious character flaw but none of the rest of this matters in the least.

The RNC is pushing back on the intense MSM scrutiny of Sarah Palin. The RNC shoud know that people of this great country (and everywhere else in the world) do want to know more about the person who may, in a missed heartbeat, become the one who controls the Nuclear Switch that could destroy the world. Media scrutiny is obvious from someone when the republicans do not know well enough. One only needs to see pictures of the unfortunate teenage girl holding the baby - forced into the limelight by her mother's greed for power - to feel the mother-son bond. No pictures that show Sarah holding the baby come even close to depicting that bond. The sotry of the long trip to deliver the child makes for a bizarre mental process of the woman who could potentially be the POTUS. While an affair is a private matter, it destroys her credibility with her chief sponsors if it was found to be true - the Evangelicals - even if they will not admit it publicly. Sarah Palin has stepped on the toes of m

I am screaming. Can you hear me? Hurry up Enquirerer; we need you to hurry up and get the vetting process done on this broad. And I do mean broad. How dare she preach to me and to other women. She needs to clean her own house before she starts criticizing ours.
