Top 5 Oatmeal Cookie Recipes

Oatmeal recipes are the ideal thing to have on hand if you should ever have a sweet tooth; but want to be sure to add something nutritious to your diet. The oatmeal helps your heart, as we all know the
se days. So, in the interest of that idea; here are my top 5 oatmeal cookie recipes. I will start with a microwave version for those of you in tight scheduled lives. Below is the list of ingredients required for this. This recipe makes 8 regular size cookies, and many smaller ones. Have fun with it.

1 can of sweetened condensed milk.
1 bag of graham cracker cookies crushed.
1 cup of oatmeal
(I prefer Irish oatmeal as it has more nutrients.)
1/4 teaspoon of Cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon of Allspice
1/8 teaspoon of Ginger
1/2 teaspoon of brown sugar
1 baking dish (microwave safe)

Mix all of the ingredients together and make little balls of crunch. Then place them on the dish. Make sure there is more than twice the size of each between each cookie. (They will spread in the dish.) Bake on low for about 2 minutes. Watch as this varies by your microwave. They will be still moist looking to look at. If they are solid, your cooked them too long. Repeat this with each batch, cooling them for about 10 minutes before eating. (Remember the hot principle with a microwave: let everything cool first.)

Another top recipe for oatmeal cookies is made in the microwave as well, per the above time frame. Read above and return here. All done? Good, then let's proceed. This one can be adjusted to your cookie demand. Increase as required. Here is what the recipe calls for:

1 cup of oatmeal
1/8 cup of white sugar
1/8 cup of brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon of Cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon Allspice
1/8 teaspoon Ginger
1/8 teaspoon Nutmeg
1/2 cup of butter salted
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 egg
3/4 cup of bisquick baking powder
1 baking dish (microwave safe)

Mix all ingredients and drop by spoonfuls on the dish.
Bake as stated in the prior recipe.
Cool for at least ten minutes.
Enjoy
