Nice Cars is a car dealership operating in Tennessee, Georgia, and Alabama that boasts Christian principals. They offer good cars to good people with typically little to no down payment. Sounds like a great deal right? Almost, but do not get too excited. The company you would think would be wonderful to work with since they are based upon Christian principals, however they are the most untrusting and unchristian people I have ever done business with.

Not only are they untrusting and force people to put their car payment before even their rent/mortgage but they require the use of a Passtime device in all cars they sell, which just once again screams, we are Christians, but we do not trust you!! They do tend to have friendly sales staff, however the office staff as well as the staff in the collections department leaves much to be desired as they are not very friendly or Christian based at all.

They have a huge selection of cars, however you can expect to pay at least 2-6 thousand over the blue book value of a vehicle plus add the whopping 24-28 percent interest on top of that astronomical price tag. Makes the vehicles rather expensive. Good news is that insurance is not required to drive off the lot, however must be furnished within two business days. Other good point is full coverage is not required, only the state minimum is what they require, so your only looking at 400-700 a month for a used vehicle that has approximately 70,000 miles on it, if not much more. Most of their vehicles are approximately 5 to 10 years old, which adds to the damage of the large price tags and huge interest.

They claim in their advertisements and at the office locations that a CarFAX report of your vehicle is available upon purchase, however upon asking for my copy of the report for the vehicle I recently purchased I kept getting the runaround on actually receiving that, which makes me think that it's just a claim not something they actually back up.

I have dealt with Nice Cars before, my wife and I got a explorer from them. We waited in the office the whole day literally 7 hours then when they finally pulled us in the office they had all the paperwork like we had already agreed upon the price. They started talking about the payments and the device that shuts your car down if the payment is not made. Well finally I stopped him and said we didnt agree to pay that yet, he said then I guess you dont need a car. I finally said not at a 28 percent intrest rate. They are not Christian people, and I dont wany anyone to get Christianity mixed up with bad business. Christian business wont claim their practice as a Christian business. You can tell that it is a Christian business by the way they practice. NOT WHAT THEY SAY!!!!

What is a Passtime device?

I HATE nice cars with a PASSION. My fiance was told that if for whatever reason the passtime wires were tampered with or unhooked that he would be arrested. How retarded is that?! Two weeks after the truck was purchased, the who entire right side of his truck just stopped working correctly. His left brake light went out and it blows with a new light bulb, the right headlight will not brighten up even with a new bulb. Its ridiculous. Whats even funnier is they told him that there was nothing they could do about it. They also told him that he would be able to pay his payments at any location and then waited until after the paper work was signed to say oh im sorry you have to pay it here. So now he has to drive 2 hours every week to waste money on a truck that hes paying WAY too much for. Whats even more hilarious is that when you walk inside of their office/dump/whatever they have all of these awards up such as "2007 top used car dealer"...How?! They are HORRIBLE!
