Product Review: Softsoap Pomegranate & Mango Body Wash

While I was at the supermarket hunting for bargains, I came across the soap aisle. I saw one of those little yellow tags that let you know a product is on sale, so my eyes drew closer. The sale items were Softsoap body washes. They were $2.99 each. They had a variety of scents, but one tickled my fancy. It was the 'New'Pomegranate and Mango Moisturizing Body Wash. The size, a nice 18 fl. Oz, the price, and the name brought it home for me, literally.

I tried it in the shower that evening, and I loved it. I kept making everyone who stopped by smell it. "Hey, how are you? How've ya been? Come into my bathroom, I want you to smell something!"

The value:

I will definitely purchase this again. (Yeah, even if it's not on sale!) It's a great value and a great size. I don't know how the others body washes smell, but I'm hooked! We all know Softsoap. It's a great brand, and I find that their products are always a great value.

The effectiveness:

It lathers great and makes lots of suds. That's great because you don't have to use too much, and it will last longer! The little moisture beads feel slightly gritty, but, that goes away when they dissolve. But, that's to be expected. It washes away great and your skin feels nice afterward. I wouldn't say it replaces the need for lotion, so make sure you don't forget that part.

The smell:

Oh the smell, I wouldn't even call it a smell...that makes it sound like it could be in a category with something that smells bad. It's a scent, a beautiful aroma, a walk on the beach during the sunrise, a fireplace to warm your body when you come in from a cold winter's night.

Other users:

My 6 year old liked it a lot. He even used it as shampoo and he kept asking me to smell his hair. My 17 month old must have seen me smelling it so much that he sees it, he grabs it and tries to inhale it!

Oh, yes, did I forget to mention how good it smells? I'm a little obsessed about this product, I know. As soon as I used it, I knew right away that I just had to write an article about it letting others know to give it a try! If you like it, great! If you don't...well, sorry, because I do!
