But VIPS also reaches out through other programs in the schools that foster literacy, technological growth, and individual enrichment. Some VIPS volunteers even work with adults in ESL programs. By helping parents to learn the language volunteers are of course also helping entire families to adjust to life in the city of Providence, RI.
