With both the National Football League and NCAA Football kicking off their seasons football fans across the country are gearing up for another season full of thrills. The popularity of football across the country has reached amazing levels and advertisers are paying huge money to get their products or services onto the big screen when those rabid football fans are intently viewing their favorite team. As this season starts out, I thought it would be appropriate to take a look at the best places for a fan to watch a football game.

The top five places to watch a football game

1. At the stadium-
How can anyone argue with this one? The ultimate place to watch a football game is right where it is occurring, in the stadium. If you are able to be at the stadium it is an experience in itself. Being at the stadium allows you to feel the intensity of the game through the roars of the crowd, while putting you closer to the action than you can possible be anywhere else. Get to the game early and plan to tailgate or watch warm ups and be a part of a full day of festivities that will make the football fans spine tingle.

2. At a local sports bar or restaurant- The local sports bar or restaurant is a great place to get into the game while being in the company of other fans who are just as into the game as you are. If you are like me, you really like the atmosphere of sports fans who are very passionate about their favorite team and these kind of places are full of this type of fan.

3. Home sweet home- While at home you are unable to interact with the crowd nearly as much, there are definitely some major pluses. With the type of televisions now available you are certainly able to see the action on the field better at home than you are anyone else if you have a nice high definition television. The comforts of home are always great when you never know what could happen next to your beloved team.

4. A friend's home- Football season is a great time to bond with the friends, so if you are invited over to watch your favorite team head over and have a lot of fun. A nice little football watching party always provides a little extra excitement no matter the final score of the game.
