Rock Band 2 Release Date for XBox 360

Rock Band 2 is going to be one of the biggest sequels of the year and the Rock Band 2 release date is almost here for XBox 360 users wishing to start their own rock band all over again. Wii and Playstation 2 and 3 owners will have to wait a while longer.

Rock Band 2 release date

The Rock Band 2 release date for XBox 360 is September 14, 2008 in North America. The XBox 360 release date for Rock Band 2 was moved up ahead of the Wii and
Playstation 2 and 3 versions because according to Harmonix XBox and Microsoft have been the best partners and also have the best installed base.

DLC (downloadable content) track purchases on XBox 360 have also been the highest for Rock Band, and Rock Band 2 DLC will be usable on both Rock Band 2 and the original Rock Band. The Wii version of Rock Band still doesn't have DLC but Rock Band track packs are available.

Rock Band 2's release date also will include the launching of more refined instruments but many people plan to stick with their original Rock Band instruments.

Rock Band 2 features

Several new features will be made public when the Rock Band 2 release date finally arrives to XBox 360 gamers. The Rock Band 2 game features setlist play for bands so they don't have to continuously pick new songs and scroll through DLC song lists every time they want to pick a new one.

Another big-time feature in Rock Band 2 is the online battle of the bands mode that will allow people to take on other bands in various challenges and matches.

Also, new songs from popular artists like AC/DC and System of a Down among others are available on Rock Band 2's release date on the game disc, and a song by The Beatles is also expected.

New modes designed to allow people to transition to real instruments from expert game modes in Rock Band 2 are also planned.

Rock Band 2 worth buying on release date?

Rock Band 2 doesn't have a ton of new features but it does feature a ton of new songs by extremely popular artists. The new features in Rock Band are also very practical and needed. Rock Band 2 is a great buy for long-time fans of the series or also new people who want to see why the Rock Band franchise is so popular.

You're an idiot. It has nothing to do at all with the death of even major songwriting players in the Beatles. It's got to do with whomever owns the rights to releasing the "master recordings" to such a project. Ask Wacko Jacko, or the company he owns, why you haven't been able to play their songs on Rock Band or any other such venue. They have the copyrights, they decide who gets to use their songs.

It WILL NOT come out with a Beatles song. All are master recordings, and its hard to do that when some of the members are dead.... Just saying.
