Oregon are saying. Oregon has been a mostly Democratic state; we are a proud state, full of beauty and hard working people. Though at times we don't feel like our vote really matters because the news media will announce a winner before our polls are even closed.

Well that aside lets review the Presidential Polls in Oregon:

www.usaelectionpolls.com has the overall electoral college race at Obama 327 vs. McCain 206

www.pollster.com shows Oregon at Obama 48.8% vs. McCain's 42%, with 62% of those voters feeling that McCain has a better handle on terrorism.

www.buzzdash.com polls, which are admittedly non-scientific, have Obama at 45% with McCain at 55%.

As you can see the Presidential Polls in Oregon are to close to call. What I feel is that Obama says whatever the situation needs for him to say. McCain isn't talking enough about the economy, but is showing heart and wisdom. Obama comes across to me as a "Used Car Salesman" who needs to unload his current inventory to make his goal. McCain has the heart, but needed the woman's vote to bring him strength. That says a lot for us girls.

The national polls have had there say, what are we really saying here in Oregon on the Presidential Polls.

The Albany Democratic Herold wrote: Obama visited Albany, OR and was introduced by his brother-in-law, the Coach at OSU. Obama spoke of his love of Oregon, what he would accomplish with the military by pulling them out, strengthening the economy, and promised to put billions into Early Childhood Education. The voters were a mix of Democrats and Curious Republicans. How this affects the Presidential Polls in Oregon is hard to say, Albany Democratic Herold still shows a very close race.
