Halloween Costume Ideas for Twins

Costumes for twins are fun. Here are some of the best ones we have seen. Some of these we have made ourselves. All it takes is some imagination and willingness to have a little fun. Twins from ancient history are the easiest to make costumes for. Modern
twins that are celebrity types are actually too common to use as good costume idea sources.
Jacob and Esau
A must set of twins to make costumes of is the first even set of twins, according to the Bible, Jacob and Esau. The costume is easy to make as all they need are simple toga type light brown cloth and a staff for shepherding sheep. Jacob needs a head band with the Star of David on it because later in life his name is changed to Israel and his 12 sons become know as the tribes of Israel.
Romulus and Remus
The two famous co founders of Rome. Their costume would be difficult to be complete as I doubt the zoo will lend you a suckling wolf bitch even if they had one. Never the less some short pants, shoulder cover and some makeup dirt here and there along with a tit shaped bottle should do the trick.
Fred and George Weasley - Harry Potter Trouble Making Characters
From the books of J Rowling these two trouble makers are perfect for Halloween twin costuming. All they need to look like is an English schoolboy. A few decks of cards or some other simple to carry magic tricks and their identity would no longer be a mystery.
The Brothers Gibb - From the singing group the BEE GEES in the 1970's and 1980's.
Maurice and Robin Gibb with guitars of course, add some 70; s style bell bottom pants and they are ready to go again. It would be great to see them again as Halloween costume subjects. A few taped BG songs and they could even sing.
Pompeii Twins - Set AO- 1001
A set of twins frozen in time at Pompeii. All the sizes of their body and even in death their features so closely resembling each other that archaeologists are quite certain they are twins. To make their costume you need to cover your self in grey ash with body suits. A somber costume to be sure.
