Yes, there are folks out there with certain conditions that make it harder for them to lose weight, such as those with insulin resistance, diabetes, hypothyroid, heart problems, a disability, etc. But you must, must, must believe it when I tell you that there are companies that want you fat, and there are companies who never want you enlightened to the fact that there isn't some mysterious illness out there called "obesity" that you catch like the flu. Here's the scoop on obesity. It's a state, or a condition, but it certainly isn't a disease. If it is marketed that way, it is only so that profitable weight loss drugs can be manufactured and sold to the overweight and frustrated that are desperate for anything that could possibly help them shed the pounds.

Dieting is seriously not as complicated as the media and legal drug pushers make it out to be. While certain formulas can assist you in achieving very modest weight loss, it is only due to one or both of these two factors, each of which you can achieve without wasting money on expensive supplements.

Thanks so much for this information. I have begun my New Year's resolution and that is to lose about 50 lbs. I am clueless to this. I have a new Nordic Track, so I am taking it a little at a time. There is so much diet fad, its ridiculous. I have found taking my vitamins and eating light, I can lose weight with the help of my new equipment. Thanks again!!
