A while ago I published an article about my personal experiences with Reviewstream - a company that offers users an opportunity to make money online but likes to do shady things when it comes time to pony up the earnings. Apparently Reviewstream saw my article and decided to retaliate by POSTING MY PERSONAL EMAIL ADDRESS all over the net! This is not only an INVASION OF PRIVACY but it also backs up my point 100% - this company is completely ridiculous! Who stoops to that low to broadcast their users private info? Could you imagine Associated Content, Blogger or any other reputable website doing this?!

Anyways, I suppose I should be thankful for the totally free publicity since they actually took the time to CREATE A WEBPAGE that calls me a liar. (The webpage even has my picture on it! LOL! Seriously!!! The best part is that THEY STOLE THE PHOTO FROM ASSOCIATED CONTENT! )

But I wanted to point out that I am by far NOT the only person who has had problems with this company. So here's more bad reports on Reviewstream. Since ReviewStream was kind enough to take the time to create a webpage about me and share my personal info with the world I will take the time to post snippets from every complaint so my readers know NOT to sign up with them.

SOURCE: http://www.scamclub.com/reports/ReviewStream.com-650.html

"The web site gives no clue as to the physical location of the business. The US Better Business Bureau has no record of them. The contact e-mail address is reviewstream@yahoo.com."

"The web site says that it takes "up to 72 hours" to review writers' submissions, at which point the writer will receive an e-mail telling if submission has met the criteria for publication. The criteria are not listed on the web site."

"I submitted 9 reviews over a period of 6 days without response. When I e-mailed the company, the answer was in broken English saying that they were in the process of updating software. The next day, I started getting e-mails rejecting all but 2 of the 9 reviews I'd written."

"I'm not sure what these ReviewStream people are up to besides wasting my time, but I advise everyone else to skip it."

Takeaways
  • ReviewStream stole my avatar from Associated Content!
  • ReviewStream has dozens of bad reviews for "glitches", banning accounts and more
  • ReviewStream created a webpage with my personal information on it!

and why do they have to have products, advertisements, or adsense up there to be legit anyway? perhaps they do things differently in other parts of the world. i'm going to remain optimistic until something does go wrong, but until then i'm enjoying writing for $50.00 easy dollars. it's helping pay my smaller bills. :-) if you're nice to people they're nice back. but again, sorry you had a bad expierence with them. doesn't sound like it was fun at all.

they do state that you can't copy your own work and put it on there for a review. and the payout is $50.00. it's not that hard to come up with a review fresh on your own if you really are a writer. i mean, seriously, it's a free, easy way to get money. and are you sure you guys weren't rude to them when you sent them your comments? just a suggestion. sorry you had all the troubles but they are working out for me just fine.

well, Im a new member of reviewstream and upon reading all the comments here, NIKKI's comment caught my attention, I checked out the link regarding TORI, cheating,,, and I can say that I should try reviewstream myself, cause it seems like tori really cheated thats why her account was closed.. Check this out>>> http://www.reviewstream.com/cheaters/tori.php

I agree with Poker S. I also was a review stream member and my account was also closed but only after i had written a review suggesting referals to their company. I am very angry with them and I wish I could spread the word against using them. i am glad Torry wrote this article and I am also glad that i am able to share this comment.

Yeah man o_O why don't you justify what they said on reviewstream.com about your cheating instead? You never said a thing about THAT. Just for the record, i got paid yesterday, over 100 USD. I was worried that it was a scam, but it is not.

By the way - that is really horrible! Any kind of PROFESSIONAL agency would have closed the account if they disagreed with the situation, not published your personal info on the internet. You should sue them.

The last few comments must have been made by Reviewstream because they all have really bad grammar.

if you actually lokk at the page you will find that reviewstream has evidence to back up its allegations

I'm agreed with reviewstream. Respect the Copyright Law, respect other authors and you'll not have such problems.

I would advise reviewstream to bring this young lady to the court for the misdemeanor.

Hi Tori, thanks for the great article. Out of curiosity, what is cash4essays web address? I tried looking up the site, and never found it, even when I put that title into Google. Thanks much for your help!

I'm glad I caught this, it does look tempting, and I did see Tori's and others' stuff there and immediately questioned reviewstream's scruples more than the alleged "cheaters," shaming is usually a sign that people's morals are broken. As far as physical address and Better Business Bureau, their domain is registered to a company in New Zealand, bbbonline has nothing. Their T's and C's just says "governed by the laws of the United States of America" which was another red flag, a governing state law is usually given. Oh boy, my sympathies. Glad you wrote on AC about it, it showed up in Google quite easily. BTW, check any comments here to see if the user is relatively new before considering them! That's another good thing about AC - I've never been there, but they are a couple of miles from me. :-)

Hey, what're you talking about ? I got several payments from them immediately after request. They're paying - no doubts. And they're closing the accounts for cheating - no doubts as well )

Wow! Everywhere I turn, I see bad experiences from dealing with Reviewstream.com. They sound like a horrible and unprofessional company. I can't believe so many people never got paid for their reviews and I am yet to find someone who has actually received their hard earned money from this company. Furthermore, Tori should definitely sue them for invading her privacy by spamming her email address, IP address and other personal information. The saddest part in all of this is that Reviewstream itself has convinced me through their own replies and actions to NEVER consider them. I think that is saying something considering the plethora of horror stories associated with them all over the net.

and I told Tori she should sue the hell out of them because that is against the law. Also slandering her name by posting that link and creating that site is against the law too. Tori, keep up the good work. Your articles are great and everybody loves them.
