Mozilla Firefox released v.3 recently. Firefox has been encouraging users to upgrade to the v.3 version. I began using Firefox v.3 recently. I began having problems with my Associated Content articles. The biggest issue is that links don't insert properly. Hypertext links have returned 'javascript error' codes. Some links are just dead. Associated Content editors rejected several submissions because of the dead links. AC content managers were very helpful. I was instructed just how to fix my link errors. Here's a simple guideline for Firefox v.3 users. Follow these guidelines to format your articles properly.

First, if you haven't begun using Mozilla Firefox v.3, consider waiting until the bugs are worked out.

Next, if you have Firefox v.3 and you hypertext articles, use fewer links in your articles for awhile.

Add your article links on step three 'Add extra information'. You can list up to three links on this page.

If you use links in your article, in the Firefox v.3 version, the 'Insert link' box may open again after you insert a link. Click 'ok' a second time.

If the link box doesn't open again, click again anywhere on your hypertext link. The link box will open up and show a 'java void' message. Reinsert your link. Click 'ok' again.

On step 5 'Preview' click all your article links to be sure they work.

If you've submitted articles and received the java errors message from AC content managers, you can remove the links without editing the source html. On your article in step 3, place your cursor anywhere on your links. On your toolbar, click the 'Remove link' icon (right world symbol). Reninsert your links twice as described.

Good luck!

I was linking AC articles using Mozilla. When I double checked the links, they all went back to a particular article. I thought maybe it was a virus, hijacker or something. Good info! I'll stick to IE!!!
