Photoshop - Green Grass Logo

In this Photoshop Tutorial I will show you how to create the Green Grass Logo that I have in my image. You can turn this into a header and put it on your website or you can simply use it as a logo. Please see the image that I have provided to see the ending results. I will write this tutorial in detail so that the Photoshop beginners can do this too.

How to Create a Green Grass Logo in Photoshop

Open Photoshop and let it load. Then create a new canvas 500 pixels by 300 pixels. You can make the canvas longer if you are going to use this as a header. Set your background to transparent or white. If your website background is not white, then I would set the background to transparent. Click OK on the Canvas box.

Create a new layer by clicking Layer > New > Layer at the top of your Photoshop window. Name the layer Logo Background and click OK. You will see your Logo Background Layer in your Layers Panel. Press F7 on your Keyboard if you do not see your Layers Panel.

Select your Rectangle Tool from your toolbar. Draw the rectangle across your canvas. You can make it as wide and as long as you need it. After you draw your rectangle, left click on your Logo Background Layer to highlight it. Now right click on that layer again and click Rasterize Layer from the pop up menu.

Now we will apply the effects to the Logo Background Layer. Left click on it to highlight it. Then right click on it and click Blending Options from the pop up menu. You will apply the effects needed in the Blending Options to change the look of your Logo Background Layer. Please apply the following effects.
