Besides the narrator and his rock star brother, the cast includes: Ty --film producer, Cipes--surfer slash hippie slash lead singer of some unheard of band, Matt--pretty boy aspiring actor, Frankie--the token Latin heartthrob club promoter, and Greg Whitman---music producer.
The first show begins with the seven meeting for an "unstaged" teeny bopper version of a Godfather like breakfast to discuss how they are going to advertise a club opening. Cipes, the hippie, begins to write on his glass of water a tells the others that this changes the molecules in the water and everyone should write "I love you" on their glass. The others chide Matt for being celibate and Greg, the ring leader, assigns each of the guys roles in making his Casablanca club opening a success.
The biggest dramatic points in the show make me yawn. Chris Breed, the club investor, and Greg clash over having an open bar for the opening and Frankie comes to the rescue when he brings to bimbos to convince the investor to have an open bar. Greg is upset that his brother, who is supposed to perform on opening night, is going to Arkansas to hunt deer because he believes he won't return in time to play. At the end of the show the Prom Kings don't perform because Chris is in jail, a rock star being jailed---this is unheard of.
Simply put this show is a grown up version of Laguna Beach, the only difference is the the cast members think they should be famous because they throw parties at club, play mediocre music, happen o be undiscovered actors, and have some pretty faces.
Well America's seen all of these things 24 hours a day, seven days a week already, and these boys are just plain overrated.
