All About Hi-5 Social Network

Hi-5 is becoming more and more popular over time. Hi5 is a networking website like tagged, friendster, facebook, and MySpace. Hi5 was created in 2003, founded by Ramu Ralamanchi, who is also CEO of the hi5. It's arguable to whether
or not hi5 is more popular than it's biggest competitor, MySpace, or not; though hi5 was recorded as one of the top 25 visited websites just last year. Some people don't trust hi5 though, because they ask you for the password of your email address, so they can add your address book to their database. Once they get a hold of that, they send everyone on your contacts an invite, without even having your permission to do so. Also, if that isn't enough to get you to stay away from hi5, take a look at this. This is from hi5's privacy policy:

"hi5 collects personal information when you register, when you use hi5, when you visit hi5 pages or the pages of certain hi5 partners. hi5 may combine information about you that we have with information we obtain from business partners or other companies. Once you register with hi5 and sign in to our services, you are not anonymous to us. hi5 collects information about your transactions with us and with some of our business partners. hi5 automatically receives and records information on our server logs from your browser."

Would you really consider joining a site like hi5 when you can just join another site that doesn't require such things, like MySpace or facebook?

Besides all of those issues, hi5 offers the same things that websites such as MySpace offer, such as adding photo's, videos, music playlists, profiles, friends, and so on. Hi5 has different groups that you can join, such as music, games, hobbies and crafts, entertainment and arts, alumni, schools and education, automotive, business, cities and neighborhoods, pets and animals, religions and beliefs, science and history, romance and relationships, sports and recreations, computer and internet, fashion and beauty, and so on.
