Halloween Themed Wedding Ideas

If you like the time of year when the leaves start to turn colors and fall off the trees and you love the holiday where the whole point is to scare people and eat lots of candy then maybe you want to consider having a fall or Halloween themed wedding? There are a ton of ideas for the bride that wants to incorporate either of these themes into her wedding.

If you are going for a fall themed wedding then incorporate the colors of fall into your color scheme. Have red, gold, orange or tan colored bridesmaid dresses. Decorate the church and reception hall with leaves instead of flowers. Use pumpkins in your centerpieces and have a candle in the shape of a pumpkin or leaf as your unity candle. Use gourds as decoration as well. Have fall inspired food such as squash and candy corn.

For a more traditional Halloween themed wedding then the possibilities are endless! Start with the wedding party. The Bride can wear a white dress but make it look like it is dirty and has grass stains and paint the brides face white to make it look like she is a dead bride. The bride can also wear a black dress with a black veil. The bridesmaids could also wear black or orange as traditional Halloween colors or red to symbolize blood. They can wear gloves that show the arm bones on the outside. The groomsmen can add red paint to their faces to symbolize blood and wear vampire teeth. Encourage your guests to wear costumes to the ceremony and reception as well. Use scary organ music as the bridal party entrance and horror music when the bride enters.
