Four Ways to Earn Quick Money at Halloween

Halloween is approaching and it continues to be one of the most popular holidays of the year. Need extra money? This popular holiday can provide you with a variety of ways to earn quick money in your local area. Here are some ideas for fun ways to earn money during the upcoming Halloween
 season:

Open a Halloween haunted house in your area.

One of the ways to earn money quickly at Halloween is to open a Halloween themed haunted house in your city. Rent a local building in your area and decorate it ghoulishly. Keep the interior dark with lots of moans and creepy sounds. Choose a location that's on a main road and advertise heavily with flyers showing ghosts, goblins, and other frightening images. Be sure to send out a press release and get free publicity from your local paper. Charge $5.00 for admission and as people exit the house after their "haunted" experience, sell them a t-shirt that says "I Survived the Haunted House".

Prepare a Halloween recipe book.

If you love food and cooking, there are ways to earn quick money at Halloween using your culinary skills. There are tons of cookbooks on the market for Christmas and Thanksgiving recipes, but far fewer for making Halloween goodies such as "ghoulishly good stew" or "creepy cookies". These are items people would enjoy preparing for their Halloween parties and would gladly purchase a copy of your book to make it easier. Create your offerings by taking common recipes in the public domain and making them more Halloween friendly by adding food coloring in Halloween shades. Sell your Halloween recipe book at craft shows or in local retail stores that sell Halloween costumes.

Offer a pumpkin carving service.

There are people who would love to have a unique pumpkin head to place on their front porch for Halloween but who don't have the time or inclination to cut their own. If you have a little artistic flair, you can offer to carve a unique pumpkin face for them for a fee. Market your pumpkin design service with flyers stuffed in mailboxes and placed on local bulletin boards. Take lots of photos of your carved pumpkins to use next year on flyers to show the quality of your work.
