Chicago Cares
Chicago Cares is a volunteer organization the gives individuals and businesses the opportunity to participate in group volunteer services around Chicago. They have 20 hands-on volunteer projects each month that serves children, the homeless, adults, senior and the environment. They are an affiliate of the Hands on Network. Interested partners can register online, simply complete the online orientation, submit your volunteer profile, and review the more than 120 service projects offered every month. Also, registered volunteers will receive latest projects through print and e-calendars, and weekly e-mails about Hot projects. Interested parties can also make a donation online.

The Red Cross is a humanitarian organization led by volunteers and guided by principles of the International Red Cross movement. Interested parties can take a self-assessment test online if you want to volunteer. If you are interested in donating, you can make a donation by phone at 1-312-729-6120 between 8:30 am-4: 45pm on weekdays. If no one answer you can leave a message.
