There are several crafts that are wonderful for kids. Sometimes you can find these crafts in kits. Other times you will need to create a kit of your own to give to your kids. Kids will love this gift because it's something they can work on during the holiday break.

Craft Kit Gifts for Kids #1: Scrapbooking

You can buy these at your local craft store or you can put one together on your own. There are several scrapbook supplies that can be found at your local dollar store. To create your own kit, I suggest buying a large photo album, stickers, scissors with a special edge, and construction paper that can be made into frames for the pictures. If your kids do not have enough pictures of their friends, they can create a scrapbook of their favorite celebrities. They will be able to find pictures online and you can include magazines in their kit.

Craft Kit Gifts for Kids #2: Beading

These can also be found at your local craft store, but these are so easy to put together on your own. First select several types of beads. You can find beads that have letters on them, seed beads, larger beads, silver bead, etc. It's good to know what your kid's favorite colors are before putting this kit together. Once you have selected the beads, find a large container that has several compartments. Next, select string, fishing line, or even leather string (found in the craft department) for them to make their necklaces and bracelets on. Don't forget a needle for the seed beads.

Craft Kit Gifts for Kids #3: Cross-Stitching

With these kits, it's best just to buy one at your craft store. I suggest buying a cross-stitch kit that is simple to do. You can also find these kits for small kids, which are very easy to do.

Craft Kit Gifts for Kids #4: Transfers

To put this kit together you will need a book of transfers, fabric paint pens, a package of white t-shirts, and an iron if you don't have one. This is a very easy and fun craft to do. All you need to do is transfer the page to the t-shirt, using the iron. Then the kids simply color the picture in with their fabric pens.
