American Idol Halloween Costume

American Idol is a great show. This article gives help and tips on how to make a Halloween costume using the persona of one of the judges, Simon Cowell. My favorite judge is Simon Cowell. He reminds me of Howard Cosell, the sport caster. Many people hated Howard but they watched him. The watched him by the millions. To me that is a good entertainer and Simon Cowell is the same way. So many people do not like him and it plays well for the show.

There has to be one nasty bad guy judge at least. On American Idol Simon Cowell is the man. A Halloween costume reflecting who and what Simon Cowell from American Idol is might not seem difficult at first. Just a clean pair of dark pants and a grey pull over V neck shirt does the trick for clothing. He goes barefoot for all I know as we never see his feet. The problem with Simon Cowell is the heavy English accent and the malapropisms he puts out all the time. Simon Cowell's hair is a 60's modified flat top haircut. No one else gets away wearing their hair like that but Simon Cowell does.

For props it's pretty easy with Simon Cowell. His favorite prop is Paula Abdul. She is frequently hanging all over him, lucky guy. But seriously he has really just two physical props. One is a pencil that he plays with in various ways during most every show. The other is his big red Coca Cola cup which he so obviously holds up with the logo facing the camera every time he gets a chance. Obviously he is paid by the number of exposures he gives that big belly washing Coca Cola he may or may not really be drinking. There is one prop he does not have but that we can add based on more than a few times it has been brought up. More than a few rejected contestants want to be idols have mentioned this. They get upset at how sharp Simon Cowell's tongue is and they cut back at him. They ask him who let him into America anyway and where is his work permit. So one very funny prop the costumed Halloween character Simon Cowell could and should carry is an oversized work permit book. Any one that knows Simon Cowell will love that prop.
