Lost Halloween Costume Ideas - Dressing up like "real people" - that is, like TV characters that don't have blue hair, green skin, or a superhero costume - can be difficult. The key is to accessorize by including plot elements in
your costume. Here are some ideas to help you put together a recognizable costume from ABC's hit series LOST this Halloween.

LOST Main Character Halloween Costume

Remember, since there won't be very much to these costumes, start with choosing a character you physically resemble. Based on your hair length, hair texture, and skin tone (remember, changing your hair color can be temporary and will dramatically improve your costume!), choose from the following characters:

Male, short hair: Dr. Jack Shephard, John Locke, Benjamin Linus / Henry Gale, Jin-Soo Kwon, Michael Dawson
Male, long hair: James Ford / Tom Sawyer, Hugo "Hurley" Reyes, Sayid Jarrah, Desmond Hume
Female: Kate Austen, Claire Littleton, Dr. Juliet Burke, Sun Kwon, Danielle Rousseau
Couples: Try Jack & Kate, Jack & Juliet, Sawyer & Kate, Ben & Juliet, Charlie & Claire, Jin & Sun, or Desmond & Penny.

The best choice is a recognizable costume. Think of accessories you can use to point out who you are trying to be:

- Charlie Pace, for example, could wear tape on the first joint of his fingers to spell "LOST" or "FATE", as well as a black hooded sweatshirt and use a British accent to sing "You all everybody!" Add a handheld statue of the Virgin Mary or a few small pouches of brown sugar, if you want to emphasize Charlie's heroin addiction in your Halloween costume.

- John Locke would be most identifiable with a faux scar on his face, a squinting expression, a T-shirt tucked into cargo shorts, and a few throwing knives (or two stones - one black, one white).
