One of the most popular movies this year is Wall-E. This means that dressing as characters from the movie is going to be popular for Halloween. While there will be costumes that can be bought at the store, making costumes at home is much more original. The two main character of Wall-E are Wall-E and Eve. Here are guides to making Wall-E and Eve costumes. In order to make a Wall-E costume, the main things that are needed are boxes and paints or markers to add color. Make sure that the person who is going to wear the Wall-E costume is present when picking out the boxes.
The main box needs to at least cover the full torso. It will not be exact, but by wearing black pants or black leggings and black shoes, this will easily represent the tracks that are like Wall-E's feet and can make a perfect pose for a picture if the person kneels. That way the person will look like Wall-E.
For the arms, just wear a gray long sleeve shirt and some gray mittens or even better, thin gray gloves. This is to copy Wall-E's hands which seem to be made up of three pieces of metal. If you want, sew the fingers of the gloves so that they match Wall-E's hands better.
A yellow scarf is a good idea so it covers the neck as Wall-E has a yellow neck. As for Wall-E's eyes, a mask can be made out of some small boxes, but a better idea is some balloons can be blown up and attached to the head of the costume wearer, drawing the eyes on with permanent marker.
A lot of measuring and cutting the box or boxes is going to be needed. After the box has been measured and cut to be worn, it can be decorated to look like Wall-E.
Put on the clothes, then the box, and then the balloons. The costume is sure to be a hit.
Dressing like Eve can also be easy. Find a costume helmet to be an astronaut. Wear white clothes underneath. Put a white sheet over the helmet and attach it tightly to each leg using some pins on socks. Wear white tennis shoes.
The costumes of Wall-E and Eve are perfect for twins or couples. Everybody is sure to love these costumes.
