Haunted houses can be fun no matter what your age is. Teenagers and Adults specially love going with groups to a great haunted house. Some even love going to as many as possible. This list shows you some great haunted houses located around the Metro Detroit area.

Night Terrors at Wirad's Orchard

Ypsilanti, MI

734-482-7744

This haunted house is located on a large orchard. They have many things to do here besides the Night Terrors haunted house. If your children don't care for haunted houses or they are still a bit too young, still bring them along with you. They can wait outside while you enjoy the thrill of Night Terrors. They say the entire grounds are really haunted and people have herd "voices" while walking around. I for one never herd these, but that's not saying it's not true. After you have your thrill of the haunted house, walk around the grounds. Go on a hay ride, great for all ages. Walk through the corn maze. It's huge and can take hours to complete. You get a card and have to find every single hole punch. They are hidden and hidden well. We spent 3 hours in the corn maze until the kids grew tired.

Slaughtered At Sundown

Armada, MI

586-752-7669

Very intense haunted house and hay ride located here. Something you would not want to bring your children to. The haunted house is very dark and very scary. They have a lot of twist and turns in here, so half the time you lose your friends. The sounds, the screaming and even the smells are enough to make you scared. Their haunted hayride is said to be just as bad. They didn't have this last year, but say its back this year. Try one or try both, if you dare.

Erebus

Pontiac, Mi
