Situated along the coastline of San Diego is the beautiful city of La Jolla. Home to some of the most expensive real estate in Southern California, this neighborhood offers cliffside, and ocean views
of some of the most incredible panoramic sites ever viewed. Clearly one of San Diego's' top neighborhoods and definitely one of the most affluent, the city is known for its' view of the ocean.

There are several top neighborhoods within La Jolla including; La Jolla Farms which are the Cliffside homes overlooking Black's Beach, La Jolla Shores which makes up the residential area by the Scripps Campus, the La Jolla Shores beach and eastward toward the hillside. The homes overlooking La Jolla Shores are of the top neighborhood La Jolla Heights. Along the lower portion of Mount Soledad lies the top neighborhood of Hidden Valley. There are many more broken up into approximately 16 different neighborhoods.

The schools for the community are the best including La Jolla Country Day School, The Preuss School of UCSD, National University, UCSD, The Scripps Research Institute, The Bishop's School, Integral Elementary School of La Jolla, and the La Jolla High School, which is a part of the San Diego public school system.

Rancho Santa Fe is another of the top neighborhoods in San Diego County. This exclusive affluent neighborhood is ranked as the second highest income community in the United States. With its' strict design guidelines and wealth residents including Bill Gates, Jewel, Joseph Coors, Phil Mickelson, and others, don't expect to see homes from the street. It is similar to Malibu in that you won't actually be able to see the actual homes. Made up of several golf courses and country clubs, and a riding club.
