The release of Playstation 3 will feature some of the best sports video games for the 
2007 season. Everyone knows that the EASports franchise controls the sports video game industry and will be releasing many more of the popular games as time goes by, but EA games are not the only franchises with sports games to offer. Here is a preview of my top sports games that are currently available for the Playstation 3 game console.
Madden NFL 2007
Do I even have to mention anything about this game? Once again, EASports delivers perhaps the greatest sports video game in the history of video games. For Playstation 3, Madden NFL 2007 destroys all other competition with its stunning visual details and excellent game play. The NFL Superstar: Hall of Fame mode returns, allowing you to create and customize your own player then lead him from a rookie to a Hall-of-Fame legend. Also returning from 2006 is the Lead Blocker Control, which allows you to control any player on offense in blocking situations. The highlight stick (my favorite feature of the game) allows you to run exactly how the players run. With small and fast running backs, the highlight stick allows you to juke and use elusiveness to avoid defenders while the bigger backs simply run over people. The 2007 edition of Madden NFL Football is a major improvement from last year's version. Playstation 3 may have the best version of Madden this year, with over the top graphic details and visual effects.
