Purpose of this article
Associated Content has its own FAQ section, but it doesn't address many common questions. This article is an accrual of the more frequently asked questions from the AC forum.

Disclaimer
To keep from typing "as of the writing of this article" or "currently," keep in mind that the answers provided here are subject to change as AC makes changes to their site. The author will attempt to keep current with the changes by providing comments at the end of the article. The initial answers are current as of publication of this article.

How do I get in touch with the Content Manger?
In general, address all concerns via email to admin@associtatedcontent.com. Remember that AC gets thousands of emails everyday. If you expect a response, be very specific in your request. Provide as much detail about your issue as possible, including the URL of the article in question. If you don't get a response within 3-5 business days, send a second email. The squeaky wheel gets the grease.

What is the difference between an exclusive and non-exclusive submission?
When publishing an article, the first screen to fill out is whether you want to submit the article for free or for monetary consideration (see below). Exclusive and non-exclusive are two other choices you may select.

Exclusive: You guarantee that the submission has not been previously published (either online or in print) and will not be published elsewhere in the future. Once accepting our offer, you assign full copyright ownership to Associated Content (AC). Exclusive articles tend to receive higher offers.

Non-Exclusive: Non-exclusive submissions can be previously published either in print or online. If we find it online, the byline must match your AC account. You retain the right to re-publish your non-exclusive AC content. If you've published elsewhere or plan to sell your article elsewhere, choose this option.

Very helpful article. Too bad I didn't find this article sooner - I learned many of these the hard way. I recently wrote and published a detailed article here on Associated Content about whether you should submit your articles as exclusive or nonexclusive from a monetary perspective.
