The American Red Cross is asking all citizens to spread the word to Hurricane Ike victims about resources available to them. (Source: The Employment Guide).

The organization has opened shelters throughout the area (see houstonredcross.org).

"Additionally, the American Red Cross is supporting numerous PODs for food, water, and ice," stated an email from the group.
