My Own Bio
It all started with a promise: a promise I made to my father when I just graduated from College, that I will fulfill his dream of one day having a lawyer in the family. He was then disappointed by my brother as he quit law school when he was already in 3rd year to pursue another field. This promise was by-passed by more pressing challenges. I got married, had to raise and take care of four kids at the same time work with the DBM. The "promise" was further sidelined by other fields of studies such as my MBA .
It was only when an acquaintance topped the bar in one of the bar examinations that I remembered the promise I made to my father. My youngest child was 2 years old then and I just finished my MBA. Finally, with the prodding and blessings of my husband , I entered law school. Those law school years were the busiest years of my life. Little did I know when I was just starting that I was entering a very challenging task that almost cost me everything. But then I believe it was really God's will and in His time. The office then just implemented flexi-time. I had to start office hours on or before 7:00 AM everyday so I can be off from the office at 4:00 PM and just be on time to my law classes which starts an hour later. When there were urgent work to be finished , I had to skip lunch to be able to finish my work before I attend classes. Sometimes I fell asleep during late night classes as I was already so tired during the day. I skipped dinner when all I can think of was to sleep when I arrived home at late in the evening from classes. I had to wake up early dawn to be able to study my lessons and read the assigned cases and had to be content with less than four-hour sleep at the most everyday. On top of this, I had little time left for my growing kids who were taken care of by my husband and siblings so I can pursue my law studies. The pressures and arduous schedules finally gave-in and I had severe sinusitis and vertigo and I had to stop law school for one semester by doctor's order.
