This article is actually quite inaccurate. South Padre Island does not a have a "trolley" that is free of charge until 3 a.m. That's completely false. There is the "Wave" bus that runs until 9 pm, but it's super slow. Cab fares are $3 per person each way.
"Located just south of San Antonio" -- hardly, it's 4.5 hours south....that's half of most States.
