For the Budget Conscious Bride

Moving one step further, in wedding reception ceremonies, some brides have considered using the fish bowl for what they were originally intended; fish! Using marbles or decorative beads, in your wedding colors, as
accents in the bottom of the fish bowl, the addition of goldfish will provide an interesting conversation piece to your wedding reception dinner tables. While lighting may be a factor, consider using battery powered, single strand Christmas lights, mixed in a light accent of greenery, around the outside of the fish bowl. Again, this will provide for an interesting centerpiece for your guests.

Traditionally, wedding reception centerpieces are adorned with flowers and, in many cases, are quite expensive when professionally created. Following the wedding reception, many centerpieces will remain untouched and fall to the wayside. As an efficient alternative, creating homemade wedding reception centerpieces will provide both you and your guests with a wonderful accent to both party and to the home.

If you have an evening event and the fish get too cold they will die. Belly up baby. Happened to me. It wasn't even that cold out.
i agree with you lauren Bettamansions are the best because they rent the centerpieces with the fish and they deliver and pick it all up so no stress for me and the fish the use are verry healthy and they actually take them back to the store they have in washington state and sell them so cudos to them my wedding was a huge conversation wedding because of their product so i will vouch for them to go to www.Bettamansions.com they have pics there

You should never have a goldfish in water that does not have a filter. Most people don't know this but the fish will die very quickly. Goldfish need a filter! You can use Betta fish instead. They don't require filtered water.
Walmarts does not carry hurricane lamps online.
