Have you ever gone on a date and you couldn't really tell how the date was going? One way to tell how your date is responding to the situation is in their body language. You do not need to be a body language specialist to tell certain things about your date. Everything from what they are doing with their hands to the way they are sitting can help you to read what exactly they are really feeling towards you. Now, reading body language isn't an exact science, but will help you to possibly get another date from the person or to know when to end the date and move on.

Watch your date for eye contact when they are speaking to you or listening to you. If they are making eye contact with you while they are speaking to you, then they are telling the truth and they feel comfortable with you. If they are making eye contact while listening to you, then there is a really good chance that they are interested in what you are saying and interested in you as a person. Their attention is solely on you.

On the other hand, if your date is constantly looking around the room during the date, they may either be bored with the date or they don't feel comfortable with
you. Also, if they are talking to you and they are avoiding eye contact with you, then they are most likely lying or exaggerating about what they are talking about.

Watch the way your date sits in their seat. If they look relaxed and have good posture, then they are having a good time and feel relaxed with you. A date with bad posture and who is slouching may either be shy or tentative or they are just not into the date that much.

Watch out for when your date crosses their arms in front of them. This is usually a sign of a barrier that they are putting up between you and them. Now, if your date always has their arms crossed no matter what, this may just be a comfortable position for them that they always are in.
