Help for the Chronic Sweater
Embed:
If you are always worried about underarm sweat marks and stains . . . yes, if you are a "chronic sweater", take notice of these tips!Deodorant, then powder, then deodorant. Controlling your sweat starts with your personal hygiene. Yes, it starts in the shower. So that means after you have showered (and if you are woman, please make sure to shave your underarms while in the shower), get out and dry off completely under those arms and then immediately apply your antiperspirant. But do not stop there! Next, apply plenty of powder like baby powder or other. Apply it liberally, making sure you feel allover dry. Then . . . apply one more thin layer of antiperspirant.
Aloe vera as lotion under there. If you need to use a body lotion, consider using 100% aloe vera gel for the underarm area. Not only is it completely beneficial for the health of the skin, but it also acts as a barrier on the top of your skin. It's like a shield, both for things coming in . . . and things going out (sweat!). So, after you shower and dry off and before you apply the powder and antiperspirant, apply a nice layer of aloe vera gel and allow it time to dry on the skin.
Loose fitting clothing. The last thing you want to do is have your material right up against the skin, because that's like telling your skin 'hey, here's something to soak up the moisture!' So make sure to wear clothing that doesn't hug your underarm area tight, but hangs as far away from it as possible.
Colors that won't show dampness. Dark colors like black and navy blue are great, or sometimes white. It depends a lot on the material too. You can test this by wetting a small area of the material or comparing it when dry to when you are in the process of washing it. If the color of the material darkens at all when wet, then it is not something you want to be wearing.
