The highlight of any Halloween party is the variety of beverages, candy and cakes which are served. In recent years, Halloween has become just as much of a holiday for adults as well as children. One of the best beverages you can serve at an adult Halloween party is an adult variation of a childhood favorite known as Witch's Brew.

In order to make Witch's Brew for an adult Halloween party, you need four or five 46 ounce cans of different fruit juices such as grape, mango, grapefruit, pineapple and lemon, and a mixture of either fruit juice or fruit flavored Kool-Aid. You also need 23 ounces of ice. The thing that sets the adult and children's variations of Witch's Brew apart from one another is the alcohol content. For every ounce of Witch's brew, add between quarter ounce and half ounce of regular Smirnoff Ice.

Combine all the ingredients into a large punch bowl, portable water cooler, or either a plastic cauldron half filled with ice. Mix the ingredients thoroughly with the ice to ensure the beverage is chilled enough to be cold, but not completely frozen. For even more added flavor and nutritional value of Witch's Brew, you can add chunks of fresh fruits which resemble the juices you use in making Witch's Brew. The natural fruits of the fruit juices and whole fruit pieces will give the Witch's brew that added nutritional value of the natural fruit juices. The added value of the natural fruit juices will also help the body retain some of its vitamin content which will be compromised by the drink.

Before the Halloween party begins, remember to party responsibly and either plan to stay the night or call a cab to be sure you get home.

Make sure that you prepare the Witch's Brew not more than an hour or so before the Halloween Party is to begin. If you prepare the brew too far in advance of the beginning of the party, the ice will melt and water down the beverage, leading to compromised flavor in the beverages. If you want, you can use shaved ice or crushed ice instead of cubed ice to make your witch's brew.
