Best Places to Eat in Newark, California
I will start off with Taqueria Los Gallos. This is a great place, and one of the first places I ate at when I moved to Newark 12 years ago. They are famous for their Los Gallos Quesadia. It is a meal that is quite exquisite to say the least. It's a huge Quesadia filled with meat, rice, cheese, beans, and sour cream. It looks more like a super burrito than quesadia, and it tastes awesome. That would be the first thing I would recommend from the menu. Their super nachos are also awesome. They come with the works on tops, and you can choose beef, carnitas, steak, and chicken on them. The chicken super nachos with sour cream are very succulent and juicy. They have some really good drinks there also. You can get a corona, soda, or carrot juice. So if you want something healthy or a beer you can choose what you like.
Another great place to eat in Newark is El Burro. This place is huge! With 2 stories and a castle like appearance it's a nice place to take a date or girlfriend too. They have a nice setting with indoor water fountains, candles and cool lighting. They have their famous El Burro Tostadas that only they make These things are huge and o die for. I really like them. Although the shredded beef is now as good as the chicken meat in them. You can also get steak and eggs for dinner there! They are Mexican ranch style steak and eggs and are the best. There are tons of other great things you can get like Chile Reino, enchiladas, and flutas. So if you are ever in Newark be sure to check it out!
