Some People Still Refuse to Get it

THE LEFT WING

Sid Ryan is the leader of the largest, most powerful union of public servants here in Canada. Recently he called upon not only his union members but the rest of Canada to boycott anything made in Israel
due to the Lebanon crisis. Even his own union members said he was nuts. A lot of Liberals/Democrats might agree with him. I say let him and the Taliban Jack Laytons of the world go talk the terrorists out of doing what they're doing. Here it is, reprinted in it's entirety. Thank God we still have the freedom of the press over here, a freedom our vets fought and died for and the brave soldiers of today maintain. This article was printed in a very conservative newspaper. I wonder what would happen to Mr. Ryan if he had such a big mouth in say Iraq or Afghanistan.

The Toronto Sun - Dec. 15, 2006 - Sid Ryan

I think I know what the messages on Jimmy Carter's voice mail sound like. Last month, the former U.S. president released his book, Palestine: Peace Not Apartheid. And I bet he's getting an earful. Last spring, 900 delegates to the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) Ontario convention overwhelmingly passed a resolution expressing support for the global campaign against Israeli apartheid. At the time, Resolution 50 was met by fierce and vitriolic opposition from the usual suspects over at the National Post and from within Jewish organizations such as B'nai Brith and the Canadian Jewish Congress. Both of these organizations ran campaigns and petitions against me and my union.

AC Observer, Don, you guys and I know that Harry is giving hobos a bad name. He was funny for a while but I'm tired of him. BTW, he has to go under Devils Advocate now on www.thepoliticalbrief.com for some reason. Gee, I wonder why?

Still silent Harry (Tiff, someone called you). Now who's the f... head?

Posted on 12/29/2006 at 1:12:00 PM

F- head? that's not very nice Tiff. don't get your boxers in a bunch over this.

Oh... you mean like "There is a difference between being an anti Semite, and being against the nation state of Israel. To be an anti-Semite, you have ot have a problem with the Jews. You can love the jews, though and still hate the political entity that a MINORITY of the world's Jewish population lives under... the Nation State of Israel. Remember... Anti Semitism was around for a thousand years when there was no Jewish State. In fact, there as no Israel during the Holocaust. A political entity is very different than a race/ culture. It's important to know the difference." which I said before Don decided to be a f***head? That sort of intelligent? I love how this is MY fault. Whatever.

It would help if you could say something intelligent Harry.

Yes... the fact that I typo often is of tremendous importance to the substance of the discussion. My bad. I didn't realize how relevant my ability to type is. Carry on. Apparently the subject at hand is what an asshole I am. I say we take me outside behind the schoolhouse and kick my ass. Jesus, Yuoranter has asked that this shit be dropped. Do you think you two can handle that?

Hey, nameless. I knew who you were talking about. Harry really has a spelling problem. Much like that other one, I forget the name.LOL

How many Muslim buddies do you have, Paul? Maybe the reason Youranter keeps commenting on them is that you seem to take the Muslim side of things a lot. I'm all for religious freedom and political freedom, too. But it wasn't Baptists who attacked us on 911 and the Lutherans haven't said a word about a jihad.

Posted on 12/20/2006 at 5:12:00 AM

Youranter, you've used the "have a prayer with my muslim buddies" line a bit too often dude--might be time for some new material--and so what if I have "muslim buddies"? Your disdain for muslims is kind of odd for someone who goes on and on about religious freedom.

Posted on 12/20/2006 at 5:12:00 AM

Don, ya gotta love it when the cowards don't, or can't, log in. When they start to criticize you're spelling, they're pretty much done. Witness Nikki. It's tough sometimes, but you really have to bite your tongue. These morons are just too easy to take apart. That's why I leave their comments on, so they can show the rest of the world how pitiful they are.
