Whether you love them or hate them, leather pants and latex leggings are one of the hottest trends for Fall/Winter 2009, and you'll be seeing a lot of them even if you aren't wearing them. But for those of us who are planning to wear them, it's all about knowing where to buy them. These pieces com

Leggings
Kova & T is the brand that started this trend with their latex leggings, called the Oxy Leggings, which have been seen on Lindsay Lohan, Sienna Miller, Nicky Hilton and so many other stars. Singer 22 has these hot pants on sale for $115. Nordstrom makes a similar nylon/spandex pair, called the Nordstrom Slick leggings, for half the price at $68. For an even less expensive alternative, try the Shiny Knit Leggings from Express which are only $39.50, and the American Apparel Shiny Nylon Tricot Leggings for $34. Mind you, these have a lot more sheen than normal, but will give you a similar look.
Leather Pants
If you're going for this edgy and sexy look, and money is no object, definitely shoot for the Balenciaga leather pants found at Yoox.com. These pants actually look more like leather leggings; they're very body conscious, have no belt buckle and they zip at the ankle. For $878 it's a major investment, but leather pants in general last longer don't scuff or stretch out as easily as latex leggings. Similarly, Marciano sells the Leather Leggings and Leather Pants for $258, both of which actually have a waistband and look just as cool as the Balenciaga pair. But if that's still pretty far out of your budget, don't fret! Head on over to Macy's and check out the INC INternation Concepts Skinny Faux Leather Pants. Nothing beats real leather, but this pair comes dangeriously close; at $89 it's a steal!
