How to Celebrate Brithdays that Fall on Holidays
Birthdays Vs Holidays
A day of celebration that includes two events should never be problematic. Follow these suggestions and you'll never miss with celebrating both events.1. Remember that someone went into labor on that holiday and brought a new life into the world. The new born did not chose to that day to say hel
2. If the holiday requires an exchange of gifts, buy that person two gifts, one for the birthday and one for the holiday.
3. Keep birthday wrapping paper handy and wrap one present in the birthday paper and the other in the holiday gift paper.
4. Give that person a meal for themselves. If the holiday requires a large dinner or lunch, take your special person to a birthday breakfast.
5. Let that birthday out! There is no reason to keep the cake mix in the cupboard. Make a special cake for that birthday too.
6. If you entertain on holidays, give your special person at least an hour for themselves. Before guests arrive is best but if the guests have stayed overnight, include them in the birthday celebration.
7. Never make your special person feel they are imposing on the holiday. Always let them know this is their day too.
8. Leave whatever chores that have during that holiday time alone or let them help a little. If they try to help let them know you have not forgotten this day is theirs too.
9. If they ask for something in particular, give them that object for the birthday. It gives them more say in what happens in their special time.
10. Never say I love you just on those birthdays. But, this is a given!
Best wishes to all of you born on holidays and those you love.
