How to Organize and Clean Your Bathroom for a Fresh Feel and Efficiency

How often do you hear people complaining about having to clean and tidy their bathroom? It doesn't have to be a chore if you get it in good shape to start with. Getting your bathroom cleaned and organized will make your daily routine run much smoother. This is especially important when you have a family. Knowing where everything is will help you to use items more efficiently and everyone will be able to start their day on time. How can you organize and clean your bathroom for a fresh feel and efficiency?

Start Fresh

Remove everything in your bathroom. Put items in boxes so you have a completely empty bathroom. This way you can start fresh with your bathroom instead of trying to shove everything around to new places while organizing.

Clean Thoroughly

Next, give the bathroom a good cleaning. Why put everything back into a dirty bathroom? You now have empty space and cabinets and will be able to clean everything really well. Don't forget the walls and even the ceilings. It's best to start from the top and work your work to the bottom when cleaning.

Sorting

After your bathroom is cleaned thoroughly, get the first box and start your bathroom sorting. Go ahead and get a big trash bag. Fill it with anything and everything you don't use in your bathroom. If you haven't been using something for three months or more, ditch it. Chances are, you're not going to use it.

Go through all the toiletries. Smell and look at makeup, skin care and other items you have. If they have a bad odor, look bad or the expiration date (if relative) has passed, give them a toss into the trash bag. Using bad products can lead to various infections. You can replace with new items that are in date and in good condition.

While you're going through makeup and skin items, look for ones that you no longer use, even if they are still usuable. For example, if you're no longer using that odd smelling perfume or perhaps that neon blue eye shadow then you should ditch them.
