"Project Runway" is Coming Down to the Wire

"Project Runway" is coming down to the wire with only two episodes left until the grand finale. The stakes are getting higher. The contestants are getting testier. That means it is pretty much the same old thing.

This week the contestants were tasked with making outfits for one another. However, there was also a catch. The outfits had to be inspired by a specific genre of music.

Jerrell drew Kenley's name and was tasked with making her an outfit that represented pop.
Kenley drew Leanne's name was tasked with making her an outfit that represented hip-hop.
Korto drew Suede's name and was tasked with making him an outfit that represented punk rock.
Leanne drew Korto's name and was tasked with making her an outfit that represented country.
Suede drew Jerrell's name and was tasked with making him an outfit that presented rock and roll.

Most of the designers took the task to heart and quickly began making plans for the perfect garment to represent their music style. Kenley, on the other hand, decided to do her own thing; making no attempt at all to match the hip-hop style.

When Tim Gunn questioned Kenley's design, she got snippy with him. Her nasty retorts eventually caused the always-perfect gentleman to blow his cool for the first time in "Project Runway" history.

While her fellow contestants looked on, Kenley continued to act like a spoiled brat saying "I don't intend to change anything because of Tim. What does he know anyway?"

It's a good thing that her designer, Jerrell, didn't take the same stance in preparing her outfit. Instead, he put together a dress that was not only fitting of the music genre but that also made Kenley look like a million dollars.

Although Korto wasn't, at first, excited to be wearing anything country, once Leanne put cowboy boots on her, she began to dance around and sing. It was fun watching the normally quite and reserved beauty having a bit of fun.
