Halloween Drink Recipes: Dracula Meets the Zombies and the Living Dead
Happy Halloween to all of you ghouls, the night of mischief is fast approaching-here is some ghastly cheer to lively up your party that will awake the dead for sure. So, if you have a faint heart, I suggest that this elixir may not be unto your liking. But for those who come alive after the midnight
hour-these three drinks will awake the dead spirit in your soul. All of these drinks are from my original drink recipes; I hope that everyone enjoys them as much as I have had in creating them.
Bela Lugosi's Ghost
Add 1 full shot glass of Smirnoff Vodka to highball glass
Fill glass ½ ways with Wyler's lemonade or frozen lemonade of your choice
Add 1 ½ shot glass of Roses Lime Juice
Add 1 teaspoon of Roses Grenadine
Add 1 slice of lemon and lime
Stir vigorously
Add crushed ice
Garnish rim of glass with 1 slice of lemon
Return of the Zombies
1 shot glass full of Malibu Coconut Rum
2 shot glasses of Bacardi White Rum
4 oz. of Coconut Milk
1 dash of Myers Spice Rum
¼ Simple Syrup
Fill shaker with ice, add all ingredients. Shake, strain into chilled martini glass rimmed with coconut shavings.
Garnish with white chocolate shavings
Night of the Living Dead
1 shot glass of Smirnoff Vodka
1 shot glass of Bacardi White Rum
1 shot glass of Bacardi Dark Rum
¾ of Coke
¾ of Sprite
½ glass of non-sweet ice tea
Add ingredients to large beer glass-shake for a 1 minute; do not pour items into another glass. Add 2 pieces of lemon and lime wedges into drink with 3 cubes of ice.
