Why Natalie Glebova (and Pailin Rungratanasunthorn ) Were Eliminated from Amazing Race Asia 3

One of the Thai Teams was Eliminated in Episode 3 of the Amazing Race Asia: You Can't Blame Pailin Though

On the third episode of the Amazing Race Asia 3, ex-Miss Universe, Natalie Glebova and her partner, Pailin Rungratanasunthorn from Thailand, were eliminated. For those of us who have watched the first two episodes, this certainly wasn't a surprise. But for anyone else, here's why Glebova
and Rungratanasunthorn were eliminated from Amazing Race Asia 3.

It's simple really. Natalie Glebova is probably the most spoiled contestant they've ever had on Amazing Race Asia and the most clueless. She didn't seem to understand how difficult the Amazing Race Asia is, how it requires a lot of physical exertion, and that there will be sometimes days where you don't get to have a shower or sleep in a hotel. For someone like Natalie Glebova, who is a pampered, hi-so (high-society) girl with no clue about hardships, this was just too much. She harped on and on about how she 'hated being dirty' and how 'tired' she was.

The funniest thing however was when she and Pailin had to spend the night at the airport in Bangkok. Pailin, being typically Thai (polite, kind and making the best of everything) settled down on a row of seats to get some sleep. Natalie started crying and insisting that this was the 'worst thing that had ever happened' to her, and no way could she sleep in an airport. What kind of privileged life do you lead if sleeping in an extremely beautiful, very clean and safe airport (Suvarnabhumi) is the worst thing that's ever happened to you?

The worst thing about Natalie Glebova though on the Amazing Race Asia 3 was her complete disregard for her partner, Pailin Rungratanasunthorn. Pailin had signed up for the Amazing Race Asia 3 really wanting to do her best and wanting to win. She chose the wrong partner in Natalie Glebova. Pailin worked hard trying to complete every task ahead of everyone else. Glebova spent her whole time whining and complaining and treating everyone else with a condescending attitude. She also gave up at least once on almost any task they had to do. With a partner like that, unfortunately, poor Pailin didn't stand a chance. As Pailin herself said "it takes two people to take part in the Amazing Race."

That was an interesting article you wrote, I used to like Natalie after watching Miss Universe 2005. But, when I watched TARA 3. I was shocked by her 'spoilt' behaviour!

Funniest thing about Glebova was when they were at the airport and every other team left to get a hotel room, but Glebova and her partner decided they "didn't have enough money to get a hotel". You don't have to stay in a FIVE STAR hotel, you idiots. You had the same money as anyone else.

noV, I don't even think she's beautiful. With her died black hair, too harsh make-up and thin lips - not that pretty. She just makes up well. The main thing though is she's just an ugly person. So even if she was incredibly beautiful, she wouldn't be, just because of her personality.

Great article. Natalie was a complete moron. I mean who goes on AMA and then complains "I'm so tired" after a few days? What a stupid fool.

Natalie is beautiful but useless... why Paradorn married her anyway? maybe she can suck like a vacuum? hmm...

Even though being a Malaysian, i fully understand how the Thai's feel about this race , being reprsented by Natalie is just shameful. We all know that the Thai Team did not win thanks to Natalie but full credit to Pailin giving it her best . You can be friends for as long as your life permits you to be but to have a friend like natalie is a no-no when in times of need will never be there for you , sure she is beautiful and all but we all saw the ugly side of her internally . Pailin you represent the best of Thailand has to offer , you have just made youself and your country more beautiful. As for natalie , pls go back to a no - no country where dissapointment and embarrasement does not exist .

Fan, I base my opinions about what I saw on the show. The words came out of Glebova's MOUTH so she cannot deny she said them. She acted like a spoilt brat and was disrespectful to her team mate, Pailin. My opinion is also held by most people I work with who watched the show - They arevery high-level managers in an international company who were appalled that she was 'representing Thailand' and that's how she behaved. Representing Thailand, she should have behaved better. If you know anything about Thais, you would also see Pailin, her team mate, was not happy about this either. Sorry if you disagree, but that is just your opinion.

There is one thing I don't like about Thais. They like rumors, they believe in rumors and they spread them a lot. I am sorry to learn that you form your opinion based solely on the rumors. Obliviously, you never met Glebova in person therefore I doubt that your article is accurate. Anyone can become a victim of rumors including you, anyone can misinterpret what you say in your articles and form a bad rumor ruining your reputation in Thailand. Unfortunately, this happened to too many people already.

Fan, I know a couple of people in Thailand who have met her and say their sense was she's not a nice person. and is very fake. She has a very bad reputation here because of things she has been overheard saying about Thailand, and as Thais are very proud of their country they think it's appalling that she's like this. Most people here don't think she'll be in Thailand much longer or that her marriage to Paradorn will last. It's obvious when you see her she's out of her depth here and does not fit in at all.
