Bobby Brown is Engaged

For all of you who are worried that singer Whitney Houston might get back together with Bobby Brown, you can release a sigh of relief. According to gossip site Media Take Out, the King of R&B is engaged to a new woman. Who is she? She is girlfriend Alicia Etheridge.

Alicia Etheridge is the past president of M. Gray Music Academy, Macy Gray's after-school music program. The two met a month after Whitney and Bobby finalized their divorce (April 5, 2007) and apparently has been going strong ever since.

We don't know how he's doing, but the ladies seem to like him. Uh . . . Let me retract this statement. On his prior reality show "Gone Country", two of his co-stars gave him an early morning visit and pulled back the covers. Well, let's just say he is working with a bat, not a pencil. You know, some girls get hooked on playing with a big bat and nothing else really matters.

So I guess congrats is in order for Bobby Brown. His engagement is a sign that he's officially moved on from Whitney Houston. Maybe it's a good thing. He has revived his entertainment career ever since the two have broken up. So he's bringing in the cheese. Now all he has to do is spend a little of it on his back child support. Then, he'll be set and avoid facing a judge for hopefully the rest of his life.
